"The Color Twinscope SE™ combines all the features of the original Color Twinscope, plus it has the powerful features found in the SE-200 Sonar Engine™. It operates like underwater sonic radar, scanning a moving beam over a 90° arc either vertically or horizontally ahead of the boat. In the forward vertical mode, the navigator gets an image of what lies ahead just under the surface and directly underneath the vessel. Forward horizontal scanning mode electronically steers a searchlight-like beam from port to starboard across the bow, picking up targets in the 12° beam. Features adjustable scanning sectors, simultaneous VGA and video outputs, shallow water vertical zoom, keel offset adjustment, forward and down-looking alarms, loud external alarm capability, NMEA 0183 digital depth output, and NMEA 0183 GPS input.
