"The GP-7000F continues a Furuno tradition of building a world class fishfinder into a combination GPS chartplotter unit. This unique combination unit features a bright, sunlight viewable 7" color TFT LCD in the 16:9 wide screen aspect ratio. This wider screen finally means that you do not have to compromise either the fishfinder or the chartplotter display when you're in split screen mode. With up to 1,000 watts of power (requires high performance transducer), no fish is safe from the performance of this dual frequency (50/200 kHz) sounder. You can view the bottom in either frequency or split the fishfinder screen to show both frequencies simultaneously. You can even turn on the A-Scope with any combination. You also get all the other features you would expect in a quality sounder like bottom-lock, bottom zoom, marker zoom, and options for both speed and/or temperature. It is also a great chartplotter with WAAS enhanced 12-channel GPS receiver providing accuracy to 3 meters and designed with built-in storage for 2,000 waypoints, 200 routes, and 12,000 track points, as well as external storage on standard Secure Digital (SD) cards. The GP-7000 series includes four display modes: plotter, nav data, steering, and highway. Plus it includes three presentation modes: north-up, course-up, and true motion. These units are available using the new SD format from C-MAP. The C-MAP Max includes more coverage area, Guardian Technology anti-grounding software, and the new C-forecast feature. The front loading design holds two cartridges and allows for easy flush mounting of the unit to give that professionally installed appearance.
