"The 8000 series outrigger bases feature rugged cold-drawn main tubes and braces. The main tube is a heavy wall 2" O.D. tube with a bright silver finish. The standard main tube lengths are 6' and 8'. The selection of main tube length and holder depends on your application. Note that because of stress and metal fatigue due to exaggerated boat motion, a 19' outrigger is the longest pole recommended for tower-release applications. When the base is mounted lower on the boat, this limit can be relaxed somewhat, though as a general rule, it is better to lengthen the base and shorten the pole. When you use the telescoping back brace option, the outrigger can be lowered for bridges or storage. Sold in pairs."
