"The Northstar Explorer M121 is a true multifunction device featuring chartplotting, sounding, and video input. The centerpiece is the large SVGA daylight-viewable TFT display. Large, clearly identifiable keys make the navigation of menus a snap. Northstar took their easy-to-use interface and expanded it for functionality across the Explorer platform, including an amazingly simple approach to screen splits or user-configurable favorite pages. Navigation starts with a 32MB built-in base map. Compatible with C-Map MAX Cartography, the Northstar Explorer M121 features two SD Card slots on the front of the unit. Includes a 12-channel GPS Smart Antenna. You can save up to 3000 waypoints and 25 routes. Explorer's alarms will alert you on arrival radius, danger, anchor, and XTEI. The sounder on the Explorer M121 is built-in, so there's no need for any additional "black boxes" or other electronics to integrate into the system. The 50/200 kHz dual frequency system offers up to 1000 watts of output power with a depth range to 3000'. It features temp with trend graphs and alarms for too shallow, too deep, fish, battery, temp value, and temp rate. The Northstar Explorer M121 will also accept video input from CCTV for engine surveillance, security, or even DVD input.
