The MRD60 AM/FM/CD Stereo (Model PPS60) was designed from the chassis up with the marine environment in mind. With a waterproof faceplate to eliminate the need of a splash cover, the flush mounted MRD60 is a true marine stereo. Its waterproof volume control is patented and all the electronic circuits are thoroughly marine-coated to provide additional protection. The CD player has even been enhanced with a built-in shock-resistant mechanism to help eliminate skips. With 180 watts (4 x 45) of total power available, the MRD60 can drive four 45 watt speakers. Fits standard DIN cutout. Chasis: 7 1 ¼ 8â€W x 2 1 ¼ 8â€H x 7 5 ¼ 8â€D. Face: 8 1 ¼ 4â€W x 2 3 ¼ 4â€H. To upgrade this system, add the IMR2 Expansion Port which enables you to connect features such as the Wired Remote Keypad or other future enhancements. The IMR4 module allows you to connect a TV, CD player, VHF radio, DVD, or portable MP3 player to your system. It provides ouput for an external subwoofer as well.
